Lucky Cement Limited reported net profit of PKR 3.02 billion for the first quarter ended September 30, 2017 which is 6.8% lower as compared to the same period last year. Consequently, the earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was recorded at PKR 9.33 compared to PKR 10.01 reported during the same period last year.

Lucky Cement Limited reported net profit of PKR 13.69 billion for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017 which is 5.8% higher as compared to last year. Consequently, the earnings per share (EPS) for the fiscal year increased to PKR 42.34 compared to PKR 40.03 reported during last year.

Lucky Cement Limited inaugurated its fifth Waste Heat Recovery plant earlier this year in Pezu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The inauguration ceremony took place on 15th February 2017 and was attended by Mr. Muhammad Ali Tabba, CEO, Lucky Cement Limited, and other senior management of Lucky Cement.
