Mr Sajid is currently serving as COO of International Business at Lucky Cement Limited and leading global expansion and international operations with a focus on scalability, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization.
He drives business development through strategic market entry and partnerships, while overseeing P&L management, risk governance, and capital allocation across multiple geographies. His leadership extends to guiding cross-cultural teams and delivering strategic insights to executive leadership and the Board.
His career reflects a consistent “bottom-line first” approach, including serving as CEO of Pioneer Cement, where he successfully doubled sales turnover, and as CFO in the DRC, where he co-led the management of a greenfield project. He combines deep technical expertise in cement production with a strong track record in financial restructuring, revenue growth, and high-level government engagement and diplomacy.
