Four levers we actually pull
Energy Conservation
Continuous operational efficiency upgrades reduce energy intensity across every line.
Our sustainability focus, in figures.
In line with SDG 7, we've shifted capital from fossil power to renewables across our Karachi and Pezu plants — installing solar, capturing waste heat from the kilns and standing up Pakistan's largest cement-sector wind project. Together, these systems now cover the majority of our captive load.
Upholding our commitment to environmental protection, clean energy and the communities that build with us.
Thirteen goals, one shared plan.
We've translated thirteen of the UN's seventeen SDGs into concrete action plans inside our business strategy. Each card below is a goal we own — with a team, a metric and a budget behind it.
No poverty
We support inclusive growth by improving access to essential services, community welfare and social protection for vulnerable communities.
Good health & well-being
A safe working environment, improving access to quality and affordable healthcare for our 8,000+ employees.
Quality education
Continuous learning, skill development, scholarships and support for girls' education across our operating regions.
Gender equality
Equal opportunities for women and men. A safe environment, equal compensation and accelerated pathways into leadership.
Clean water & sanitation
We integrate water conservation into our business — protecting natural resources and supporting a more sustainable future.
Affordable & clean energy
Solar, wind and waste-heat recovery now power the majority of our captive load — and we share that energy with surrounding communities.
Decent work & growth
Quality workforce development, youth training and diversified growth that supports long-term economic progress for the region.
Industry & innovation
Sustainable growth through responsible industrialization — improving living standards while modernizing infrastructure.
Reduced inequalities
Equal access to opportunity through leadership, networks, technology and inclusive solutions.
Sustainable cities
Quality, durable cement solutions enable resilient cities — and our operations stay responsible to the communities around them.
Responsible consumption
We manage our operations responsibly — minimizing environmental impact and encouraging sustainable practices across the value chain.
Climate action
Accelerated action on mitigating the impact of climate change — kilns, fuels, fleet and supply chain, all in scope.
Quality across every dimension we measure
In line with SDG 7, we've shifted capital from fossil power to renewables across our Karachi and Pezu plants — installing solar, capturing waste heat from the kilns and standing up Pakistan's largest cement-sector wind project. Together, these systems now cover the majority of our captive load.
